The way forward requires a new breed of leadership:
– That’s comfortable with leading at the office as well as virtually.
– That’s attuned to the recalibration of trust & connection when we are distributed and interacting with avatars.
-That’s willing to recontract on how things are supposed to be done.
– That’s willing to let go of how things have always been done. This includes office hours, meetings, working days per week, and more.
– That’s committed to co-creating the new way of work with those they are working with. Magnifying individual strengths whilst keeping the focus firmly on the team and what it needs from every contributor.
I’m all for this new breed of leadership!
