Welcome to 2019!
I hope that you have had a great start to your year.
From this week I am back to:
I have promised myself that this will be a year of relentless focus.
At the beginning of every year I remind myself of the idea that less is better. Simplify your life and focus on the things that are meaningful. To help me do this I love re-listening to Essentialism by Greg McKeown.
“Essentialism is not about how to get more things done, it’s about how to the get the right things done. It doesn’t mean just doing less for the sake of less either. It is about making the wisest possible investment of your time and energy in order to operate at our highest point of contribution by doing only what is essential.”
Every year we tend to accumulate fillers that waste our time, distract us from what’s important, and drain our energy. It happens when we lose the energy to stay intentional or when we simply forget.
For the rest of the week I’d like to share more of my thoughts around 2019.
What are your thoughts as you start the new year?
Let me know.
